Biography

Dr. Rod J. Rohrich is a world-renowned, board-certified plastic surgeon based in Dallas, Texas, named by Newsweek as the #1 Best Plastic Surgeon in the United States for rhinoplasty, facelifts, eyelifts, and liposuction from 2021-2024. Growing up on a ranch in rural North Dakota, he developed a strong work ethic that has carried throughout his distinguished career. He completed his training at Baylor College of Medicine, University of Michigan, Oxford University, and Harvard Medical School. He served as Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center for 23 years (1991-2014). A prolific researcher, he has authored over 900 scientific articles and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He founded the Rod J. Rohrich, M.D. Foundation to support medical students and co-founded the Alliance in Reconstructive Surgery (AiRS) to help breast cancer survivors access reconstructive surgery.
