With a calm demeanor and a warm, down-to-earth bedside manner, Dr. Wilfred Brown fosters a family-like atmosphere where patients instantly feel at ease. Originally earning his medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand, Dr. Brown relocated to the United States, completing an internal medicine internship and a rigorous six-year general surgery residency through a Yale University affiliate, where he also spent a dedicated research year at the Skin Bank and Burn Unit. He subsequently completed his specialized plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Pennsylvania State University. Certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Brown brings decades of refined surgical expertise to his Middlebury practice.
