His journey into medicine began with a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Indiana University, blending an early appreciation for form and proportion with the rigorous discipline of science. He went on to earn his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by intensive residency training in general surgery at Butterworth Hospital and specialized plastic and reconstructive surgery training through the Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center. As a founding partner of the Centre for Plastic Surgery in Grand Rapids, Dr. Brundage has cultivated a career defined by compassionate patient care, surgical excellence, and continuous academic contribution. He has shared his extensive knowledge as an assistant clinical professor at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine, helping shape the next generation of surgeons.
