Dr. Michael J. Busuito is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon practicing at Somerset Plastic Surgery in Troy, Michigan. Driven by a lifelong passion for helping others restore confidence and improve their quality of life, Dr. Busuito earned his medical degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he also completed rigorous residencies in both general surgery and plastic surgery, serving as Chief Administrative Resident in both fields. With decades of surgical experience, Dr. Busuito pairs technical precision with an artistic eye to deliver beautiful, natural-looking outcomes for his patients. Beyond his private practice, his deep commitment to humanitarian care is exemplified by his co-founding role in Operation KINDNESS, through which he has traveled to remote regions of Mexico annually since 1994 to provide free reconstructive surgeries for underprivileged children suffering from severe cleft lips, palates, and other congenital deformities.
