Biography

Dr. Savannah Moon is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and co-owner of Himmarshee Plastic Surgery in Fort Lauderdale. Growing up in Fort Lauderdale as the daughter of renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Harry K. Moon, she learned early that "your patient always comes first." A scholar-athlete, she earned a Dean's Scholarship to Tulane University, where she competed in Division I Cross Country and Track, serving as team captain her senior year. After a research year studying stem cells, she earned her medical degree and completed rigorous training, earning the rare distinction of serving as Chief Resident twice—once in general surgery and again in plastic surgery—while also receiving both Junior and Senior Resident of the Year awards. A transformative pediatric surgery mission trip to Rwanda during residency deepened her commitment to care, leading her to complete an additional fellowship in craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery. In 2023, she and Dr. Stephanie Scurci re-established Himmarshee Plastic Surgery in the historic 1925 Spanish Mediterranean building her father restored, located steps from Las Olas Boulevard. As a female surgeon, wife, and mother, Dr. Moon brings a unique understanding to helping patients achieve natural, refined results. When not in surgery, she enjoys weekend boat cruises with her family and exploring new destinations around the world.
