Born in Newport News, Virginia, he pursued his undergraduate education at Middlebury College before earning his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. Demonstrating a lifelong commitment to surgical excellence, he completed his general surgery internship and residency at Maine Medical Center, followed by specialized plastic surgery training at McGill University in Montreal. Over a distinguished career practicing with Plastic and Hand Surgical Associates, Dr. Waterhouse touched countless lives through his clinical skill, compassion, and leadership, including serving as President of the Medical Staff at Maine Medical Center. As a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he left an enduring legacy of professionalism, patient advocacy, and high standards in surgical care throughout the region.
