Dr. Marguerite Aitken brings a unique, artistic perspective to plastic surgery, having spent a decade working as a professional medical illustrator in Chicago after completing her training at the University of Michigan. Driven by an inherent fascination with human anatomy and a desire to help others, she earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine before completing her plastic surgery residency through the Grand Rapids/Michigan State University program. Practicing in Grand Rapids since 2004, Dr. Aitken focuses on cosmetic breast surgery, advanced body contouring, and facial rejuvenation. Her meticulous eye for detail, honed through her background in fine arts and illustration, allows her to approach every procedure with a balanced blend of scientific precision and aesthetic harmony. Deeply committed to education, she serves as a clinical instructor training future surgeons through Michigan State University and has lectured internationally on aesthetic and reconstructive techniques.
