Growing up in Alabama, he always felt drawn to the intricate nature of the human body and the transformative power of medicine. His path took him through the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, where he distinguished himself by achieving the highest scores in his class on both clinical and basic sciences, even scoring highest nationally on the USMLE Step 1 exam. This foundation of rigorous academic excellence was followed by extensive training, including residencies in General Surgery and then Plastic Surgery at the esteemed University of Kentucky, where he twice served as Chief Resident. He then refined his skills further during a specialized fellowship in Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University, mastering the complexities of facial anatomy and reconstruction. After years of training, Dr. Blevins chose to establish his practice in Nashville, a place close to his heart as it is his wife's hometown, allowing him to balance his demanding career with a rich family life, enjoying hiking, golfing, and travel with his wife and children. His surgical philosophy centers on creating natural, refined results that harmonize with each patient's unique features, always prioritizing safety and clear communication.
