Initially pursuing medicine with similar paths at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Dr. Ruff discovered a natural affinity for surgical precision during his clinical rotations—talents he attributes in part to years spent playing the piano and competitive tennis. Redirecting his passion toward the limitless canvas of plastic surgery, he completed rigorous general and plastic surgery residencies at the Medical College of Virginia, followed by a craniofacial fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children. As the founder of West End Plastic Surgery in Washington, D.C., Dr. Ruff combines meticulous anatomical expertise with a warm, reassuring philosophy that immediately puts patients at ease.
