Growing up with physician parents deeply exposed Dr. Katherine F. Chiasson to the medical field, instilling a lifelong admiration for those who dedicate their lives to helping others. Returning to her hometown of Baton Rouge as a board-certified plastic surgeon, she co-founded Ford Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery alongside her mother, creating one of the nation's unique mother-daughter surgical partnerships. Dr. Chiasson completed her medical training and rigorous residencies before pursuing specialized fellowship training, equipping her with exceptional technical expertise across cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face, breast, and body. Fostering a warm, reassuring environment is paramount to her philosophy. She recognizes that welcoming patients through the doors of a practice involves vulnerability, and she prides herself on truly listening to individual concerns to craft tailored, natural-looking results. Beyond her private practice, she maintains a deep commitment to international medical mission work, traveling abroad to provide reconstructive care for children with congenital conditions.
