As a proud native of New Orleans, Dr. Heath Charvet brings a deep sense of community and southern warmth back to his hometown practice, Magnolia Plastic Surgery & MedSpa. Deeply influenced by strong family values—working alongside his wife, a nurse anesthesiologist—he treats every individual who walks through his doors like an extension of his own family. Dr. Charvet completed his medical doctorate at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, followed by rigorous general surgery residency training at UC Davis, where he also served as an assistant professor of plastic surgery before returning home. Recognized nationally for his pioneering research in fat grafting safety and breast cancer interaction, Dr. Charvet combines an award-winning academic background with an artist's eye for detail. Whether performing a transformative deep plane facelift, specialized breast reconstruction, or precise body contouring, he believes that true surgical excellence requires a genuine, personal connection.
