As one of Baltimore’s pioneering female plastic surgeons, Dr. Janet Woodyard has spent three decades building a practice defined by meticulous technical precision and genuine compassion. A proud Baltimore native, she knew early on that surgery offered a profound way to blend scientific rigor with artistic craftsmanship, helping individuals feel more confident and aligned in their own skin. After earning her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, she completed rigorous general surgery training at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, followed by specialized plastic and reconstructive surgery residencies and fellowships at Washington University in St. Louis, as well as maxillofacial and pediatric training in Akron. Since establishing her Owings Mills practice in 1995, Dr. Woodyard has combined advanced surgical innovations with a deeply personal bedside manner. Whether performing intricate facial rejuvenation, natural-looking breast enhancement, or comprehensive body contouring, she approaches every patient as a unique individual, taking the time during consultations to ensure comfort and clarity.
