Dr. Guy Cappuccino is a board-certified plastic surgeon whose path to medicine is underscored by a profound dedication to artistry, precision, and genuine human connection. Serving patients in Mount Airy and Frederick, Maryland, Dr. Cappuccino discovered early on that true aesthetic transformation requires listening intently to each individual's unique story rather than applying a universal standard. After graduating summa cum laude with a degree in biochemistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo Honors College, he earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He then completed rigorous residency training in general surgery at a demanding Level 1 trauma center, followed by a specialized plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and an elite fellowship in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Known for his warm bedside manner and meticulous surgical eye, Dr. Cappuccino views himself as an educator as much as a surgeon, empowering patients through open dialogue and tailored treatment plans. Outside the operating room, his diverse pursuits—ranging from instrumental musicianship to aviation—reflect a disciplined, creative spirit that continually informs his exceptional standard of patient care.
