Dr. D. Paul Buhrer is a dedicated board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Annapolis, Maryland, where he has long been committed to helping patients align their outer appearance with their inner vitality. Growing up in Chatham, New Jersey, Dr. Buhrer pursued his undergraduate biology degree and earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He subsequently completed his general surgery residency through Tulane University Affiliated Hospitals, followed by specialized training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The University of Texas in Galveston, where he distinguished himself in pediatric burn care. He further honed his aesthetic expertise under the mentorship of renowned pioneer Dr. Baker in Miami. Dr. Buhrer approaches every patient relationship with deep compassion and meticulous attention to detail, taking ample time before and after procedures to truly understand individual goals. Known for his warm bedside manner and exceptional surgical artistry, he views plastic surgery not just as a mechanical transformation, but as a collaborative journey toward restored confidence.
