Biography

As a Maryland native deeply rooted in his community, Dr. Eric Chang brings a rare blend of elite training and genuine compassion to every patient relationship. After earning his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Yale University and his medical degree from Columbia University, Dr. Chang completed his rigorous general and plastic surgery training at Stanford University Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident. Returning home to establish Columbia Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, he has dedicated his career to helping patients look and feel their absolute best through meticulous surgical technique and individualized care. Dr. Chang believes that exceptional results begin with attentive listening, dedicating ample time during every consultation to fully understand each person's unique goals. Outside of the operating room, he is a devoted father who spent years supporting his children in competitive acrobatic gymnastics, serving as a nationally rated judge and capturing striking sports photography. This same dedication, precision, and artistic eye define his surgical philosophy, ensuring natural-looking, refined transformations that restore confidence and enhance quality of life.
