This inspiration led him to pursue a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, followed by rigorous training in general surgery at the University of Florida and advanced plastic surgery at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center. He further honed his expertise with a fellowship in craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Since establishing Williamsburg Plastic Surgery in 1999, Dr. Hyland has distinguished himself by prioritizing clear communication and thorough patient education. He believes that truly exceptional results stem from a collaborative process, where listening intently to individual goals and concerns is paramount.
