Biography

Rooted in a genuine dedication to helping others look and feel their absolute best, Dr. William T. Cullen brings decades of refined surgical experience to Elite Plastic Surgery in Grand Rapids. A native of Wisconsin, Dr. Cullen's path to medicine included earning a Master's degree from Trinity College Dublin before graduating with honors from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed rigorous residency training in general and plastic surgery through the Grand Rapids/Michigan State University program, followed by an advanced fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the University of Utah. Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Cullen offers a comprehensive range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. Patients appreciate his thoughtful, analytical approach and his compassionate bedside manner, which instantly puts them at ease. Outside of clinical practice, he shares his knowledge as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine, remaining deeply committed to surgical excellence and patient-centered care.
