As a proud Boston native, Dr. Sean Doherty views plastic surgery as a true calling that sits precisely at the intersection of science and art. Before pursuing medicine, he cultivated his eye for proportion and symmetry by earning his bachelor's degree in art history from Columbia University. He then went on to complete his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine, followed by rigorous general and plastic surgery training where he served as chief resident, and a dedicated fellowship in laser and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Doherty's core philosophy centers on keeping things real, honest, and entirely natural. He takes the time to genuinely listen to what his patients want—and equally important, to understand what they do not say—ensuring each customized treatment plan respects their unique anatomy.
