Biography

Dr. Paulson grew up on a farm in rural Stanley, North Dakota, where he learned the value of hard work and developed a passion for both the arts and sciences, guiding him toward a career in Plastic Surgery. After earning his medical degree from the University of North Dakota, he completed a surgical internship at the University of Southern Florida and a General Surgery residency at the University of Kansas Wichita. He furthered his training in Plastic Surgery at the University of Missouri under Dr. Puckett. Board-certified in Plastic Surgery, Dr. Paulson returned to North Dakota, initially working with MedCenter One in Bismarck before founding The Aesthetic Center of Plastic Surgery in 2000. His practice, known for its focus on aesthetic surgeries and growing range of non-surgical treatments, has expanded to serve Bismarck, Minot, and Dickinson, making him the longest continuously operating plastic surgeon in western North Dakota.
