With a deep understanding of human anatomy and an artistic eye, Dr. Richard F. Carver approaches each person with a unique vision, believing that successful cosmetic surgery extends beyond technique to truly understanding individual desires. His goal is always to achieve natural, balanced outcomes that enhance comfort and confidence. His distinguished medical journey began at Duke University, followed by rigorous surgical training. He honed his surgical precision through a demanding general surgery residency at Stanford University, where he earned the distinction of Chief Resident. His expertise in plastic surgery was further solidified during his residency at the University of Miami, serving as Chief Resident and being recognized as an Outstanding Senior Resident. Seeking to master specialized functional artistry, he completed a fellowship in hand surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School. Since establishing his practice, Dr. Carver has built a reputation as a trusted and respected figure in the community. Outside of medicine, he finds joy in spending time with his family, traveling, and embracing an active outdoor lifestyle.
