Dr. Garramone earned his medical degree from New York Medical College, followed by rigorous general surgery training at the University of Connecticut and Hartford Hospital—where he was honored as Outstanding Surgical Resident and received the Murray-Helig Award for Excellence in Research. He then completed his plastic surgery residency at Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital, complemented by specialized fellowship training in craniofacial and hand surgery.
