Biography

For some, the art of plastic surgery truly comes from a place of understanding, of seeing beyond the surface to the individual's hopes and aspirations. This is the philosophy that guides the careful hands of Dr. Paul Zwiebel. Growing up in Washington, D.C., he embarked on a journey that led him through Georgetown University School of Medicine, followed by extensive general surgical training at the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore. His path then brought him to Denver, where he specialized further, completing his plastic surgical residency and a hand and microsurgical fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Since opening his private practice in Denver in 1993, Dr. Zwiebel has become a respected presence in the community, recognized by his peers and holding the esteemed title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Colorado. He approaches each conversation with genuine care, ensuring he deeply understands what a patient envisions, then carefully crafting a plan that promises natural, beautiful, and enduring outcomes. Outside of his practice, Dr. Zwiebel embraces the active Denver lifestyle with his wife and their two grown children. He finds joy in skiing, cycling, and golfing, bringing that same thoughtful perspective to his work and understanding the importance of balance and well-being.
