That is the spirit Dr. Nho Tran brings to his practice at Mayo Clinic, where he specializes in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. Growing up with parents who were refugees and seeing their incredible resilience inspired him to pursue a path where he could help others regain their sense of self after illness or injury. Dr. Tran earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where his exceptional dedication was recognized by his election into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then honed his craft through a comprehensive residency in plastic surgery at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center, followed by advanced fellowship training in microvascular and reconstructive surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. This extensive background allows him to tackle intricate cases, from restoring form after cancer surgeries to performing delicate microsurgery. Recognized with the Mayo Clinic Award for Excellence and the Mayo Clinic Innovator Award, Dr. Tran ensures that every patient reclaims their life with confidence and comfort.
