Biography

Dr. Tarakji’s interest in plastic surgery began in medical school when his aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer. “Seeing something taken away from a woman and then watching their confidence restored again made me realize what a profound difference plastic surgery can make,” Tarakji said, “There is nothing I value more than my patients’ trust and together creating an individual plan to achieve the best surgical outcome.” Dr. Tarakji provides a variety of surgical and nonsurgical treatments, both reconstructive and cosmetic. Being well trained in all aspects of plastic surgery, he is able to perform both common and complex reconstructive procedures in areas such as breast reconstruction after cancer, breast reductions, skin cancer reconstruction and wound care. In the cosmetic realm, he is adept at performing both minimally invasive injections as well as more involved face lifts, body contouring, and cosmetic breast surgery.
