Dr. Philbin earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire before completing his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison. He went on to finish rigorous general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, where he was honored with the Yale-Bothom Award for Outstanding Chief Resident. Certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Philbin combines technical precision with a deeply personal commitment to his patients.
