Falvey was a deeply respected, renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon who dedicated decades of his life to serving the Torrance and Palos Verdes communities in Southern California. Born in Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Falvey pursued his foundational medical education before undertaking rigorous surgical training, completing his general surgery residency at New York University and his specialized plastic surgery residency at UCLA. Opening his private practice in Torrance in 1978, Dr. Falvey quickly established a reputation for meticulous surgical precision paired with profound compassion. His exceptional leadership and clinical excellence were widely recognized by his peers, who twice elected him Chief-of-Staff at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, where he also served with distinction on the Board of Trustees and as chairman of the Burn Committee. Dr. Falvey approached every patient relationship with genuine warmth and unwavering dedication, blending advanced surgical techniques with a deeply personal commitment to restoring form, function, and confidence.
