Dr. Marcelo Ghersi is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Coral Gables, Florida, whose path to medicine is rooted in resilience and a lifelong fascination with how form and function intersect. Having moved to the United States from Venezuela at a young age, Dr. Ghersi developed an early work ethic that ultimately propelled him through his Bachelor of Science degree with Magna Cum Laude honors at Florida Atlantic University and his medical degree at The George Washington University. He completed his general surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center and his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the renowned Cleveland Clinic Hospital, before pursuing an elite advanced aesthetic fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital under world-class pioneers of facial and nasal surgery. Co-founder of The Plastic Surgery Institute of Miami, Dr. Ghersi treats patients like family, combining meticulous surgical precision with deep empathy. Whether performing intricate rhinoplasty or transformative body and breast procedures, his philosophy centers on achieving graceful, natural-looking results that enhance both physical appearance and personal confidence.
