Returning home to the Bay Area with a deep-rooted passion for aesthetic artistry, Dr. Lisa Hwang brings a uniquely meticulous and compassionate approach to plastic surgery. A native of nearby Los Gatos, she pursued rigorous medical training, completing an accelerated BA/MD program, a full general surgery residency, a postdoctoral research fellowship in plastic surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center, a plastic surgery residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago, and an elite aesthetic surgery fellowship. Dr. Hwang believes that achieving truly natural, stunning results requires an acute understanding of each patient's unique lifestyle, individual anatomy, and personal goals. Known for her warm demeanor and meticulous precision, she takes the time to listen attentively and educate her patients from both a scientific and artistic perspective. Outside of the operating room, she is an enthusiast of fitness, fashion, and music—an appreciation for rhythm and form that gracefully translates into her surgical craft.
