It's a connection that began with his early education at the University of Richmond and continued through his medical training at the Medical College of Virginia, now known as Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. This strong local foundation laid the groundwork for a career where artistry meets precision, a path he chose because of the unique way plastic surgery allows him to blend medical science with an appreciation for natural beauty. After comprehensive training, including a general surgery residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and a plastic surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Serota returned home to establish his practice. He approaches each patient with a genuine desire to understand their individual goals, believing that the most beautiful outcomes arise from a collaborative process and a personalized plan. For him, plastic surgery is about enhancing a person's inherent features, creating results that look and feel completely authentic. Away from the operating room, Dr. Serota cherishes time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
