Biography

John Y.S. Kim, MD, is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon in Chicago and Attending Surgeon at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Prentice Women’s Hospital. Chicago Plastic Surgeon Dr. John Kim “Artistic sensibilities are an important part of Dr. Kim’s practice philosophy. This pencil drawing is an example of his art-a rendition of Durer done at a Harvard art class (circa 1986).” He is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University, and received his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Arts in English degrees from Stanford University. Dr. Kim is the Clinical Director of the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine’s Division of Plastic Surgery and is a nationally recognized innovator in breast and body surgery.
