Long before medicine became a calling, a foundational summer spent working alongside Mother Teresa in Calcutta shaped a lifelong philosophy centered on the deep value of serving others. That early humbling experience revealed the profound impact genuine care can have on human lives, guiding a path from undergraduate philosophy studies at the University of Washington toward medical training at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. Drawn to the intricacy and artistic precision required for delicate surgical reconstruction, the journey evolved through general surgery training in Virginia and a dedicated plastic surgery fellowship in Philadelphia, followed by advanced aesthetic training in Seoul. Establishing practice in the Pacific Northwest brought a vision rooted in treating the whole person rather than just performing procedures, viewing the surgical craft as an equal blend of technical mastery, artistry, and education. Away from the operating room, life is anchored by joyful days exploring the natural wonders of Washington alongside a growing family.
