Growing up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dr. Ethan Philpott developed an early appreciation for the natural beauty of his home state and the intricate wonders of the human body. This fascination, combined with a desire to make a tangible difference in people's lives, drew him to the demanding yet deeply rewarding field of plastic surgery. His journey took him through extensive training, including general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at the University of South Alabama, where he honed his skills across a broad spectrum of procedures. Recognizing a special calling to complex cases, he pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at the esteemed Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, further specializing in delicate facial and skull reconstruction for young patients. This advanced expertise, combined with his comprehensive training, allows him to approach both aesthetic and reconstructive challenges with precision and an eye for natural, harmonious results. Now back in Louisiana, Dr. Philpott is known for his calm demeanor and thoughtful approach. He believes in empowering his patients through thorough education, ensuring they understand every aspect of their care and are active participants in achieving their goals. Whether he is performing an intricate reconstructive procedure or enhancing a patient's appearance, his focus remains on delivering individualized care.
