Dr. Christine Rodgers, MD, FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon and founder of Denver Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics, where she has been transforming lives for over three decades. When she opened her practice in Denver in 1990, she became the city's first female plastic surgeon — a milestone that reflects a career built on both pioneering spirit and genuine compassion. Her path to medicine started unexpectedly as a Russian literature student at the University of Pennsylvania, a background that speaks to the intellectual curiosity she brings to everything she does. She went on to earn her MD in Philadelphia, complete a five-year general surgery residency, train in plastic surgery through Harvard, and cap her education with a craniofacial fellowship in Paris. What truly sets Dr. Rodgers apart is something more personal — she is a breast cancer survivor herself, giving her rare firsthand insight into what patients face physically and emotionally during recovery. That experience shapes her entire philosophy of care, and she even partnered with local dance instructors to create movement classes specifically for breast cancer patients in rehabilitation. In the OR, she is known for her artistry and meticulous technique across facelifts, breast surgery, body contouring, and labiaplasty, always tailoring her approach to each individual patient. Outside of medicine, she is an avid reader, ballet enthusiast, figure skater, and world traveler who speaks four languages — and she brings that same warmth and curiosity to every patient relationship.
