Biography

Growing up in Kansas with a lifelong drive to tackle the most demanding challenges she could find, she initially gravitated toward medicine simply because it appeared to be the hardest path forward. Along the way, a detour studying art history in Italy added a vital creative dimension to her scientific pursuits. When she encountered plastic surgery during her training in New York City, everything clicked, revealing a rare intersection of rigorous technical mastery and profound aesthetic artistry. After completing a decade of intensive preparation through general and plastic surgery residencies at New York Presbyterian Hospital, she made the deliberate choice to bring her talents back to her hometown. Rather than imposing a standard template, her practice is rooted in a holistic philosophy that evaluates how different areas of the body relate to one another to create balanced, harmonious, and completely natural results. Patients find a warm, concierge level of guidance designed to quiet personal insecurities and help them recognize their inherent beauty. Outside the operating room, she shares her expertise as a clinical educator, helping shape the next generation of medical professionals while remaining deeply rooted in the Kansas community she is proud to call home.
