He refined his surgical acumen through a demanding General Surgery residency at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, affiliated with Yale University School of Medicine. It was during his specialized Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at The Lahey Clinic, part of Tufts Medical School in Boston, that his artistic eye for aesthetics truly blossomed. He further honed his expertise with an additional fellowship in Microvascular Surgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, mastering intricate techniques essential for complex reconstructions. Returning to Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, over fifteen years ago, Dr. Moya established a practice where he combines advanced surgical skill with a genuine desire to help individuals realize their vision.
